Parks and Wildlife Commission NT (Part of NTG Department of Tourism and Culture)
The department is responsible for increasing visitation to the Northern Territory, delivering and supporting the protection, conservation and management of the NT's parks and native wildlife, creating a thriving, imaginative and innovative creative economy and encouraging lifelong involvement in sport and recreation.
The role of the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory is to monitor, protect and preserve the Territory’s parks, reserves and marine areas for people, biodiversity and economic growth. The Commission also assists the community in the protection, conservation and management of the Northern Territory’s native wildlife.
